Who are the Scots?

Earl Haig (1861 - 1928) Field Marshall. Commanded the allied troops on the Western Front during the First World War. Later criticised for conduct of the campaign because of the very high casualty figures at the Battle of the Somme. Founded the Earl Haig Fund for the assistance of disabled ex-servicemen (the poppy appeal).
