What Kind Of Man....? ©

What kind of man would climb Ben Dorm
When fierce winds are nigh?
The kind of man who sees no charm,
Whatever meets his eye.
What kind of man would cross Glen Ryll
When thunder marks the air?
The kind of man who sees no ill
In walking everywhere.
What kind of man would ford the Gunn
When deer scratch for moss?
The kind of man who'd meet with none,
And little note the loss.
What kind of man would swim the Clyde
In armour-plate and shield?
The kind of man who's never shied,
And knows not how to yield.
What kind of man would marry Beth,
Her temper widely known?
The kind of man who mocks at death,
And seeks it on his own.
