To Be Or Not To Be Like Bill ©

I've always had respect for poet Bill.
To write like he, a goal I must fulfill...
To get from drops of ink on point of quill...
To write like he, a goal I must fulfill...
To be or not to be a bardly name,
Achieving recognition, worldly fame...
The poet I would be, let all proclaim...
Achieving recognition, worldly fame.
Though oft absurd, the world his words have heard.
Performing too, the stage he has preferred.
To him, my emulation is conferred...
Performing too, the stage he has preferred.
Oh, Bill, the world has called your works "banal".
My smiles attest to you, McGonagall!
