The Shores o' Donegal ©

Nora Suttie
Bristol, England
1980

Beyond a blue horizon to the shores o' Donegal.
Twas' there I met my Sweetheart, true love conquered all.
So many hours of sweet contentment, and dreamily along life's path.
We loved each other, we were made for one another, as long as life did last.
Oh, sweet contentment o' my youth, I smile as I recall,
For today, in my own special way, I wish I were back in Donegal.
