The Cloud's Regiment ©

Sharon Lindeman
New York, USA
2002

Warriors cloaked
way up high,
Clouds as soldiers
cross the sky,
Passing regiments
by and by,
Uniformed and lined
up by fours
Aggressively march through
celestial fields,
Advancing boldly,
positions defined,
No retreat,
the enemy denied,
Victory to
the winds that blow
Across air's face,
Decimating soldiers
in their place.
