At first we thought only ours
That place encompasses who we are
What we feel,
What we know,
What we dream,
What we are afraid of
What we wish to become
There is a connection between that someone
Who shares our innermost things
We somehow become connected
And together we can openly dream
We dream of a brighter tomorrow
Hard work is still to be done
We dream of a better place
The fight is still to be won
We dream of a secure footage
The planting is in need of loving care
We dream of a wonderful place
Where all children are safe to play
We shall cherish the special someone
Who shares our hopes and dreams
We call that person special
For they hold us with loving care
and inspire us to be...
