Sometimes I look at your picture
and think great things of you
Other times I look at your picture
and wonder what is going on inside of you

There are times I wonder if we shall ever meet
Other times I wonder what it is you seek

Sometimes we look for things that will ease the pain
Other times we find something that is all the same

I want you to get married
I want you to find love
I want you to have great things that are sent maybe from up above

I stand in the shadows, and wish upon a star
That the spirit that lives in you will seek what is true
Your spirit is searching for the better half of you

Some call it a soul mate
Others call it fate
I think it is the spirit for which we seem to wait
