Remember Me ©

John J Turner Sen.
Scotland
2005

Remember me as the sun goes down
when I am no longer around
please do not wear a frown
just fondly remember me,

Remember me at the break of day
though I may be far away
keep your thoughts bright and gay
as you remember me.

Remember me before the end
when I was still a lover and a friend
please do not allow your joy to end
When you remember me.

For I remember you ever so fair
you with your soft shining hair
feel the love we had is still there
Oh how I remember you

I remember you as I lay in bed
regretting all the words we said
and feel the pain inside my head
as I remember you
Remember me.
