Heart-Dart ©

Shaurya Mehta

Romance was in the air,
Lance was in the dare;
He fought to love,
She loved to fight;
Soon came the dove..
When the time was right;
He saw a change
She felt it too,
Her love was strange
He had a clue;
She ignored this feeling,
He felt so disgusted;
Her phone kept ringing,
He thought his love had rusted;
But one fine day,
In the Month of May
When the temp' was high,
And so blue was the sky;
She couldn't help it,
She couldn't control a wee bit.
She asked him to be her mate,
But now closed was the gate..
'Coz today his dart,
Had Bulls-eyed another heart.
