An Angel Has Fallen ©

Alan Shand
Cumbernauld, Scotland
2004

Enchanted by you
A wondrous sight
A vision of love
So warm and so bright

An angel has fallen
From heaven above
Fallen to earth
For someone to love

Let it be me
Is all that I ask
Let me take on
This glorious task

And as we stand
Below the trees
Under shelter
From the breeze

I beg of you
Now hold me please
Kiss me slow
And do not tease

I cannot help
But wish for more
You are the one
Who I adore

My love for thee
I do implore
Deeper than
The ocean floor
